
Emma grew up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She fell in love with dance and performing while training at North Calgary Dance Centre. In their competitive program, she worked with brilliant guest choreographers such as Sarah Dolan and Katie Baines. She has extensive training in contemporary, jazz, tap, street jazz and ballet.

Most recently, Emma had the opportunity to perform for 10,000 people in the opening ceremonies for the Rotary International Convention as part of Scarlett Entertainment's Rodeo in Lights show choreographed by Tamzin Byrne. She has also trained with the Radio City Rockettes during their invite-only Rockettes Fundamentals Programs in Summer 2023-2024 and Winter 2024-2025, learning Rockette choreography and precision jazz/tap technique.

In August 2021, she completed Broadway Dance Center's Professional Semester program. Throughout the program she learned from incredible choreographers like Shannon Lewis, Josh Assor, Gwen Potter, and Hector Lopez. She was invited to perform in (sun)BURST at Broadway Dance Center, a celebratory performance to benefit Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center directed by Julia Kane. Additionally, she had the opportunity to dance in new works by Shannon Lewis and Josh Assor. She has performed as a featured dancer in pieces selected for the NextGen Dance Film Festival and Skylines Dance & Film Festival both choreographed by Nicole Charlton Goodbrand.​ Emma was also selected as a soloist to perform her own choreography at Calgary arts festival; Chinook Blast - Arts Xpeditions.

Emma also studied Psychology and Communications at the University of Calgary, graduating in 2025. She is an enthusiastic and passionate artist who strives to inspire others through movement and performance.
